Preschool:

3 year old preschool meets two mornings

4 year old preschool meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings with optional afternoons

 

Kindergarten: Meets Monday through Friday in the morning with optional afternoons

 

After School Care

Available for 3 year old preschool through 6th grade until 6:00 pm

Basketball:

Academics

Comprehensive curriculum that is Christ centered and Bible-based. Elementary program uses Abeka and BJ curriculum. The secondary program provides the core curriculum. Additional electives are available in Computers, Rosetta Stone Spanish, and drama

 

Technology:

An online computer lab is available for student use as well as computers in most classrooms. Secondary students have elective courses in Microsoft Office Applications.

 

Biblical Instruction:

Each student participates in daily Bible classes, weekly chapel services, and various mission and community service projects.

Junior and senior high students participate in monthly Christian/Community service projects. A spring missions trip is offered.

 

Testing:

MEAP Tests (Grades 3 and Up)

Stanford Achievement Test (Grades K - 12)

PSAT Test (Grades 10 & 11)

ACT/MME (Grades 11 & 12)

 

Physical Education:

P.E. is available to all students 2 - 3 times per week

 

Drama:

Elementary students put on a Christmas and Spring Musical Program

Secondary students perform a spring play

 

ACSI Extracurricular Events:

Spelling Bee

Speech Meet

Creative Writing Festival

Math Olympics

 

Hot Lunch:

GCS offers hot lunch for all students three days a week.

 

Bus Transportation:

 

Bus transportation is available for those who live in Saginaw Township.

 

School Hours:

 

Junior High & High School students attend school from 8:20 am - 3:10 pm

Elementary students attend school from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

 

 

The school calendar follows closely with that of the Saginaw Public Schools.
